Benzi and Diplo collaborated with N.E.R.D's new Echo Park-based trio Mansion on the Moon to release a new mixtape titled Paradise Falls. A mixture of indie pop and trip-hop with collaborations from Deadmau5, Washed Out, Junior Boys and Mad Decent's own DJA!
The 12 tracks are designed to play back to back without interruption and it’s 30 minutes of seminal musical ingenuity and you can download it for absolutely nothing via their SOUNDCLOUD page.
German duo, Digitalism, are back in a big way. Still doing what they do best, they'll release their new EP, "Blitz", on November 8th. Watch out for it.
Up and coming producer from England, Little Loud, has to be one of my favorite chillwave artists out there right now. SO MUCH SIDECHAIN. Its almost overwhelming.
With remixes for bands like: Memory Tapes, Health, Goldfrapp and Au Revoir Simone under his belt and an amazing cover of Bruce Springsteen's Dancing In The Dark, I'm sure Little Loud will make a huge splash in 2011. Wow, 2011... that's just weird...
ANYWAY, here are some amazing selections for you to enjoy!
Another amazing Australian band. Who would have thought? Why is it that almost all music coming from down under is just... great? Anyway, Bag Raiders released their first LP, Bag Raiders, about a month ago and pretty much ever track is a winner. After touring and recording for the past year, the band has really come into their own. The songs on the album are much more refined then anything they've released before. Funky bass lines, clever synths and soulful vocals make this release a must have. Lets hope they get another song into a McDonald's commercial.
Brooklyn's Body Language has just released their new EP titled: Social Studies. Man is it great. Also... its FREE! With only 4 songs, they are able to delve between disco, wash-pop, soul and even a lil bit of glo-fi ;). Do yourself a favor and download it, FREE, right HERE.

Magnetic Man is a collaborative project from dubstep pioneers Skream, Benga and Artwork. Taking the blog world by storm, their new album features the likes of: Katy B, John Legend, Ms Dynamite and Sam Frank. Guaranteed for stardom.
Charlottesville, Virginia's Evenings style of chilled lo-fi pop is extremely pleasing. Going from hazy textures, to down tempo hip hop beats, to atmospheric organs. Every song on his new, and first, EP is just what the doctored ordered for a lazy evening ;).
Arizona's LightsOverLA transcends numerous styles and genres with his remixes. Starting his musical career in a trash metal band, Stormy Logan, later made the transition to electronic music and remixes after touring and managing what he calls "stupid scene" bands. He plans on releasing an EP of originals in the next coming months so watch out for that.
I'm a big fan of all his remixes. I appreciate how he can go from dubstep to airy dance to heavy electro. I think these 3 songs show good examples of his diversity:
